Aal-e-Imran 3:110

كُنتُمۡ خَيۡرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَأۡمُرُونَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَتَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَتُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِۗ وَلَوۡ ءَامَنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيۡرࣰا لَّهُمۚ مِّنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ 

“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. 
You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allāh.” 

“If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.”

Let’s do a critical analysis of the first part of this Ayah.

Allah endorsed Muslims as the best nation among others.

How best?
What kind of best? 
Is there any specific explanation to understand this ‘best’?

Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Al-Hakim recorded that Hakim bin Mu`awiyah bin Haydah narrated that his father said that Rasulullah Sallillahu A’laihi Wa Sallam said,

«أَنْتُمْ تُوَفُّون سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً، أَنْتُمْ خَيْرُهَا، وَأَنْتُمْ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَل»

“You are the final of seventy nations, you are the best and most honored among them to Allah.”

So, we now have more specific knowledge from authentic sources as to how best this Ummah of Muhammad is. (Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam)

So, what makes this Ummah of Muslims best than all other Ummah?

If you read the next phrase of the Ayah after Allah mentioned Muslims as the best nation, He, A’jja Wa Jalla mentioned ‘Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil.’

So, we can derive the understanding that what makes Muslims as best nation is Enjoining Good and Forbiding Evil.

Then, what is Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil?
The Ayah doesn’t say that. The next phrase moved to another subject.
Then, how do we understand what Allah actually meant by saying ‘Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil’?
By following the Quran and the Sunnah or by following our HAWA?

(4) Know the Misguidance – the Astray Scholars

Aren’t we supposed to approach to understanding of the Quran and Hadith in the following ways?: 
What did Rasulullah say about it, or how did he practice it?
And what did the Sahaba understand, and how did they implement it?
Subsequently, we look at the Salaf as to how they understood it and approached it.
If we don’t find anything even there, we consider what is commonly understood by the Ulama.
This is our general approach to understanding the Quran, right? 

And this is what every group claims that they follow the Quran, Sunnah and the understanding of the Sahaba and the Salaf. Yet, we found it many times, in reality, most of them follow their Hawa. 

And each of these groups preaches that you cannot derive an understanding of an Ayah or a Hadith isolately, you must give it a holistic approach, which is true only about a few cases/ issues, but they use the cases of a few universally, to the entire Quran and Hadith. 

Yet, we found it many times in reality, most of them follow their Hawa, deriving a Sharia ruling from one Ayah of the Quran.

I challenge you, go, find and read everything about this issue of ‘Enjoining Good and Forbiding Evil’ from the academic scholarship of today’s modern Ulama, you won’t find the real understanding of ‘Enjoining Good and Forbiding Evil’ as it is understood by the Sahaba.

This is because most of these modern day’s Ulama with academic scholarships at their disposals are living ‘happily ever after’ under the Kuffar’s Sharia in the Kuffar’s land.

And most of these modern day’s Ulama having big titles by their names like ‘Mufti’, ‘Grand Mufti’, etc. are also living ‘happily ever after’ under the same Kuffar’s Sharia’ by endorsing the Taghut, those who are implementing the Kuffar’s Sharia’ on the Muslims, in the Muslim-majority lands, in the Muslim’s own lands. Therefore, they explain this Ayah from their desire, what’s suits their master, the Kuffar and the Taghut.

(6) Dignity Being Muslim

But now, let us take you to the understanding of the Sahaba about what and how they really understood ‘Enjoining Good and Forbiding Evil’. 
Wa Ma Tawfeeqee Illa Billah. 

Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Hurayrah commented on this Ayah, 

 بَاب :{كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ} مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوْسُفَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيْ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ (كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ) قَالَ خَيْرَ النَّاسِ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْتُوْنَ بِهِمْ فِي السَّلَاسِلِ فِيْ أَعْنَاقِهِمْ حَتَّى يَدْخُلُوْا فِي الإِسْلَامِ 

“(You, Muslims) are the best nation of people for the people, you bring them tied in chains on their necks and they later embrace Islam.” 
(Saheeh Bukhari 4557)

Subhanallah!
This is not just only an explanation of an Ayah as what is understood by a Sahaba.
Rather, this is the only solution for the entire Ummah.
This is where dignity of Muslims lies, in the power and strength to chain the Kuffar to make them obey Allah’s Sharia’

So now, we have to explain this Hadith.

What does it mean by ‘bring them in chain till they embrace Islam’, when there’s no force in Islam?
Does it contradict Allah’s word, “La Ikraha Fi deen” (There’s no force/ compulsion in Deen)

Definitely, there’s no force in Islam, and this Hadith also says the same in different wordings. Embrace Islam here means, obey Islam, meaning, they must abide by Islamic Sharia’. They can follow their Deen privately, in their homes, but they must obey (here ‘Dakhala’, means embrace) Islamic Sharia’, pay Jiziya to Islamic authorities.

(8) ‘Muslims’ OBEYING Kuffar’s Sharia’

Subhanallah!  
This is exactly what the Kuffar are doing now to the Muslims, exactly the opposite.

What they are saying (by their actions) is that ‘You Muslim can practice your Deen, by going to Hajj, pray Salah (we will give away our churches for that, no problem), observe Siyam (we will invite you to our white palace for Iftar, no problem) but you must obey our ‘Sharia”, you must pay us Jiziyah (Tax)

So, how do they say it?
How do they make Muslims obeying their Sharia’
‘If there’s a case of killing, you can’t judge the issue by your Allah’s Sharia’, you must submit to our Sharia’.’
‘If there’s a stealing issue, you can’t judge that by your Allah’s Sharia’, you must submit to our Sharia’.’
‘If there’s a Zina (rape) issue, you can’t judge that by your Allah’s Sharia’, you must submit to our Sharia’.’
‘If there’s a Zina issue (cheating on you by mutual consent), you can’t judge that by your Allah’s Sharia’, you must submit to our Sharia’.’
‘If there’s a family violence, you can’t judge that by your Allah’s Sharia’, you must submit to our Sharia’ and we will give freedom to your wives’ Ha Ha Ha!
And so on!

Yes, , What Muslims are now doing, Obeying Kuffar’s Sharia’, paying Jiziyah to the Kuffar in the form of taxes, doing the opposite they are supposed to do.
La Hawla Wa La Quwata Illa Billah! 

And Yes! Our women, those who took the Kuffar as their Rabb, for any dispute with their husbands turn to the Kuffar’s Sharia’ so quickly to earn their ‘freedom’ that the Kuffar ensure under their Sharia’!
Allahu Musta’n.
May Allah protect our women.
May Allah guide our women to submit to Allah’s Sharia’!
Ameen.

So, that’s about women in only women-related issues. 
But today, the Ummah of Muslims willingly and wholeheartedly obeying and submitting to the Kuffar’s Sharia’.

And this matter of obeying Kuffar’s Sharia’ became so easy to this last few generations of Muslims that it is not enough that they are forced by the Kuffar in their homeland, where they might have an excuse in front of Allah for obeying Kuffar’s Sharia’ (while Allah Subhanahu repeatedly warned Muslims not to obey the Kuffar)
But they even come, settle and submit directly and willingly under the Kuffar’s authority to show their submission to Kuffar’s Sharia’ and paying Jiziyah (tax).
Inna Ilaihi Wa inna Ilaihi Rajiun.

(10) Know Your STATUS, O Muslims

This is the status of the Muslims today.
Shirk of obeying other than Allah’s Sharia’ has been made easy for them.

Yet they are ‘happily living ever after’ directly under Kuffar’s authority, building Masjid, doing Dawah work, thinking they are the ‘best nation’ doing ‘Enjoying Good and Forbidding Evil’ by distributing pamphlets while Kuffar has kept them under their feet, humiliating them, disgrace them in the east, in the west, in the north, in the south, in the morning, in the evening, one entire nation after another entire nation.

Only because they left the understanding of the Quran as the way the Sahaba really understood it. Instead, they follow their Hawa.

And Allah knows best.
May Allah save Muslims from these misguided scholars who made it a normal thing to live under the Kuffar and the Taghut.

I call the Muslims to reject those misguided ‘Ulama’ and live by the dignity of being Muslim, work to bring Islamic authority, move away from the Kuffar’s authority. 

Wa Allahu A’lam.
May Allah guide us.
May Allah save us from the humiliation of the Kuffar.
May Allah strengthen us.
May Allah give victory to the Muzahideen.
May Allah make our Hijrah easy.

Bismillah! Al Hamdulillah!
Wa AsSalatu AsSalamu A’ala Rasulallah!
AsSalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatuallh Wa Barakatuhu!

My brothers,

(1)
Today, we live in a time when the Kuffar became the authority of the world therefore, the world is ruled by the ‘Kuffar’s Shariah’. They do not tolerate an Islamic authority, they do not tolerate that Allah’s law is implemented anywhere on the earth. There does not exist a single country, nor a piece of land on the earth today, which is able to be governed freely and fully by Allah’s Shariah (Allah knows best). The Kuffar won’t let it happen. 

How does this happen? 
How do they keep doing it in the entire world?
What’s the strategy in place? 
We try to work out and place it in a simple way for you to understand easily, En Shaa Allah.

(A) 
Kuffar continuously work in the Muslim-populated lands by funding academic research in the universities and institutions to devise and implement their master plans against Islam and Muslims through their brainwashed children, the ‘Muslims in Kuffar’s Mindset’ to manipulate the minds of the Muslim youths and the Muslim societies to make sure they remain happy and find ‘justice’ in accepting and obeying the Kuffar’s Shariah, democracy!

(B) 
Then, the Kuffar continuously employ their all-out propaganda machines that work round-the-clock to portray Shariah law as backdated, inhuman, and barbaric thus creating a ShariahPhobic environment among Muslims so much so that let alone the regular Muslims, even the astray ‘scholars’ find the Shariah Law ‘Bizzaire’ (Yasir Qadhi)

(C)
After all these efforts, the Kuffar has watchdog organisations/ institutions that monitor the affairs of the Muslim-populated lands 24/7 wherever a Muslim authority intends to implement Shariah law.

Al Hamdulillah, after overcoming all these plots of the Kuffar, whenever a country or land takes a few steps towards implementing Allah’s Shariah, Kuffar deal with that country in the following stages:

(D)
Kuffar use their first frontline ‘weapons’ to de-Islamize the Muslim minds in disguise of ‘humanitarian’ organizations, ‘women’s rights’ or ‘charity’ organizations to intervene in the affairs of the govt which implements Shariah, especially the CRIMINAL law.

(E)
If in rare cases that doesn’t work and a Muslim authority continues implementing Islamic Shariah, the confederation of the Kuffar pressurize the country with difficult conditions through their funding organizations.

(F)
If somehow those strategies do not work, they impose economic and trade sanctions on the country. 

(G)
Yet when an Islamic authority defies the Kuffar’s blood-eye, the Kuffar attempt to destabilize, overthrow or assassinate the govt head of the country through the Munafiqeen among the Muslims. 

(H)
In case neither the sanctions nor the killing effort works, the Kuffar send their ultimate weapon, fighter planes over the country’s airspace using ‘this or that’ false excuses.

This is how the Kuffar is so much successful in restricting the implementation of Allah’s Shariah on earth so much so that there are Muslim ‘scholars’ (the ‘Muslims’ in Kuffar’s Mindset), the brainwashed children of the Kuffar, those who openly declare that “We don’t need Khalilah” (Hamza Yusuf, as an example). 

In other words, he is saying ‘We don’t need Allah’s Shariah’, (as it is the Khalifah that implements Allah’s Shariah). And when there does not exist Allah’s Shariah, which Shariah you’re governed by? 
‘Kuffar’s Shariah’. 
It’s a simple math!

Therefore, when you say you don’t need Khailafah, you’re saying you don’t need Allah’s Shariah, which means, you’re happy submitting yourself to Kuffar’s Shariah. La Ilaha Illa Allah!

Such a statement of Shirk (submitting to the ‘Kuffar’s Shariah’) and Kufr (apparently rejecting Allah’s Shariah) these ‘scholars’ are preaching to the Muslims today. 

May Allah protect Muslims from these astray ‘scholars’.
May Allah protect us from Kuffar’s oppression and Kuffar’s plots.

(2) 
I know, you’re in a discomposed state. 
I know you are eyeing the horizon. 
My breath stops too.
I don’t feel my heart.
I don’t see my chest moving. 
An ultimate hopelessness fogged me.
My head goes blank.
I feel the cold in my blood.
I find myself in the most helpless state.
I have none but only Allah as my authority.

And Al Hamdulillah, that’s strengthened me to make a turtle’s bite.
Sadly, this situation works with many ‘Scholars’ of the ‘Muslims in Kuffar’s Mindset’ in a different way. They say, “Where to go? Where is Allah’s Shariah?”

So this situation makes those astray ‘scholars’ sit more tightly, more warmly on the Kuffar’s lap, those brainwashed ‘children’ of the Kuffar, those who took the Kuffar as their ‘Rabb’. And therefore, these astray ‘scholars’ (Yasir Qadhi, Shady Sulaiman, Omar Sulaiman, Nouman Ali Khan, Aseem Hakeem and many others) preach to Muslims to vote in the Kufr of democracy.
May Allah guide them.
May Allah protect Muslims from following their misguidance.

I know, Allah Ta’la won’t leave this Ummah in this state.
He, Al-Hakeem, Al-Muqtadeer, will establish His Deen on earth for sure.

But He, Subhanahu, won’t bring it upon these ‘Muslims’ who are engaged in mass Shirk in the form of voting and engaging with the Kufr of democracy, (Sura An-Nur 24:55) and accepting, endorsing Taghut as Muslim. (Sura Az-Zuma 39:17).

Allah clearly says, whom He, Al-Malik, the owner of the universe, will establish as AUTHORITY on the lands in the following Ayah:

“Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them AUTHORITY in the land, as He did with those before them; and will surely establish for them their faith which He has chosen for them; and will indeed change their fear into security—˹provided that˺ they worship Me, associating nothing with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this ˹promise˺, it is they who will be the rebellious.”
(Sura An-Nur 24:55) 

Therefore, this mass people, so called Muslims has to be replaced, as Allah promised, with those who will go forth for Allah’s cause, (Sura At-Tawbah 9:38:39) who won’t seek Islam through engaging in Kuffar’s Shariah, Kuffar’s democracy.
May Allah save us from His punishment.
May Allah guide these people to Tawheed. 

O Muslim, read from Allah’s clear warning:
“O believers!
What is the matter with you?
That when you are asked to march forth in the cause of Allah, you cling firmly to ˹your˺ land?
Do you prefer the life of this world over the Hereafter?
The enjoyment of this worldly life is insignificant compared to that of the Hereafter. 

If you do not march forth,
He will afflict you with a painful torment
and replace you with other people.
You are not harming Him in the least.
And Allah is Most Capable of everything.”
(Sura At-Tawbah 9:38:39)

And until then I won’t give this share of Allah’s authority to the Kuffar.
I just don’t want to die under the Kuffar’s authority.
So, I make Dua to my Rabb.
“O my Rabb, Don’t make me die under the ‘Kuffar’s Shariah'”

Al Hamdulillah that determination strengthened me to look for the lands where I don’t have to submit to the Kuffar’s Shariah, En Shaa Allah!
And I know my Rabb knows who is struggling in His cause. And I know the promise of my Rabb, whoever struggles in His path, He will surely guide him to His ways (Sura Al-Ankabut 29:69)

Al Hamdulillah! 
Here I am today, offering a few lands of Hijrah to the Muslims, En Shaa Allah! 
May Allah accept from me. 
May Allah make it beneficial for the Muslims in Duniya and Akhirah. 
May Allah make our Hijrah easy.
Ameen.
Wa Allahu A’lam.

Food of human being: ‘Halal and Tayyib’ (حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا)

Aujubillahi Min Asshaitwanir Rajeem.

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:168-173)
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
“O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] Halal (lawful) and Tayyib (pure/ beneficial ) and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.”

Subhanallah!
Let’s do a Critical Reasoning of the Ayah here.
What did Allah commanded the people?
To eat from ‘Halal and ‘Tayyib’ food.

The Ummah that cling only with ‘Halal’ but no regard to Tayyib:

Subhanallah! We Muslims know what is Halal.

When it comes to Halal food, every single Muslim possesses a PhD-level knowledge, Ma Shaa Allah! The concern for Halal food engraved in a Muslim’s mind so much that even a sinning Muslim while engaging in Haram things look for Halal meat.

But when you ask such Muslims about ‘Tayyib’ food, they have little or no understanding. They possess no certain knowledge about it. The astonishing fact is that Muslims even show no concern about what is Tayyib as if Allah’s word stops at Halal only. La Hawa La Wa La Quwata Illa Billah! There’s no regard whatsoever about Tayyib that would make you think Allah’s word has no value to a Muslim. Allahu Musta’an.

Question is, why has that happened? How’s that happened?
How a Muslim gives no importance to Allah’s word?
The reason is deep, out of the scope of the topic of this Article.
En Shaa Allah, we will discuss that in a proper place.
So, let’s move now to understand ‘Tayyib’ food in the Ayah.
Wa Ma Tawufiqi Illa Billah!

What’s the place of ‘Tayyib’ in regards to food?

What does it mean to eat ‘Tayyib’?
General meaning, good, pure food and food that benefits you.

But what about Allah’s command of eating the ‘Halal Food’?
First of all, when it comes to the matter of food, Allah Ajja Wa Jalla didn’t only mention the word ‘Halal’ rather, He Al-Hakeem also mentioned ‘Tayyib’ (pure and beneficial) with that. (Examples: Surah Al-Baqarah 2:168, Surah An-Nahl 16:114)

What does it mean?
It means, in regards to food, ‘Halal’ is only one part of the condition of food that are allowed. There is another condition attached to it, which is, that it has to be ‘Tayyib’ as well.

How important is this condition of food to be “Tayyib’?

The matter becomes such important that if you read other Ayat regarding food, you will find Allah only mentioned about ‘Tayyib’, not even the word ‘Halal’. Such as

“O believers! Eat from the Tayyib (PURE and BENEFICIAL food) we have provided for you. And give thanks to Allah if you ˹truly˺ worship Him ˹alone˺.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah (2:172):

And then, read this Ayah:

فَٱبْعَثُوٓا۟ أَحَدَكُم بِوَرِقِكُمْ هَٰذِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَنظُرْ أَيُّهَآ أَزْكَىٰ طَعَامًا فَلْيَأْتِكُم بِرِزْقٍ مِّنْهُ وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ وَلَا يُشْعِرَنَّ بِكُمْ أَحَدًا

“So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is ‘Zaka’ Taw’ama’ and bring you provision from it.”
(Surah Al-Kahf 18:19)

Look at the food the people of the cave was looking for. It’s ‘Zaka’ (أَزْكَىٰ طَعَامًۭا), which means again, the pure/ beneficial food. Not mentioning ‘Halal’.

And then look at the another Ayah where Allah mentioned only ‘Tayyib’ in regards to Rizq, not even the word ‘Halal’


وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ قَلِيلࣱ مُّسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَآوَىٰكُمۡ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصۡرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ
“And remember when you were few and oppressed in the land, fearing that people might abduct you, but He sheltered you, supported you with His victory, and provided you with pure/ beneficial provisions -(وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ) that you might be grateful.”
(Al-Anfal 8:26)

Subhanallah!
What do you understand from these Ayat?
These Ayat didn’t even mentioned ‘Halal’?
Just only Tayyib or ‘Zaka’
What does this suggest?
Tayyib is like a replacement/ alternative/ similar condition of a food to be Halal.
In other words, whatever is Tayyib that is Halal or whatever is Halal that has to be Tayyib.
A Haram food cannot be a Tayyib food, A food which is not Tayyib cannot be Halal.

Something to be Halal has to be Tayyib:

The critical reasoning of the above Ayat is proven by another Ayah where Allah Al-Hakeem straight away clarified the meaning of Halal as Tayyib:


يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللَّهُ فَكُلُوا مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

“They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made ‘Halal’ for them? Say, ‘Halal’ for you are ‘Tayyib’ (pure and beneficial) and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.’”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:4)

Subhanallah!
Did this Ayah confirms from Allah’s clarification that Halal means Tayyib?
Is it not clear from the above Ayah that a food to be Halal has to be Tayyib?
Or
In other words, the food that are not Tayyib is not Halal!
Allahu Akbar!

And finally, I can’t help but to mention this:
What Dua Rasulullah taught us?

“Allahumma Arzukni Rizkkan ‘Taiyyban'”
(O Allah, provide us Rizq that is Tayyib)
(Ibne Majah 925, Saheeh)

That again suggest Halal and Tayyib have the same connotation, same implication.
What is not Tayyib can’t be Halal.
Something to be Halal has to be Tayyib as well.

It should not leave any doubt in the mind of a Muslim who gives importance to Allah’s words that a food to be Halal has to be Tayyib.

So, what is Tayyib (pure and beneficial) food?

Food those are genetically modified?
Food those grown using pesticides?
Food (animal) those grown using antibiotics?
Food that is cross-bred between two different species?
Food that processed with chemicals?
Food that preserved with chemicals?

Subhanallah!
Food means pure and beneficial food.
Not modified,
Not corrupted,
Not Genetically modified,
Not processed with unhealthy fats,
Not processed with additives, preservatives,
Not processed with artificial colours, artificial flavours and artificial sweeteners.
Not preserved with chemicals.

By the way, what is GMO, Genetically Modified Food actually?

It is the changing of Allah’s creation by the shaitan among humans by the command of shaitan among Jinn, as that’s what shaitan threatened to mislead the son of Adam A’alaihi Wa Sallam.

وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمۡ وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ وَلَأٓمُرَنَّهُمۡ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلۡقَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ وَلِيࣰّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ خَسِرَ خُسۡرَانࣰا مُّبِينࣰا

“And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allāh.”
(An-Nisa’ 4:119)

In the last part of the Ayah Allah warned those
“And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allāh has certainly sustained a clear loss.”

Thus whenever we eat GMO food, know that it is shaitanic food and we are helping shaitan succeeding by helping in the implementation of shaitan’s plans. May Allah forgive us. May Allah protect us.

And then, what about Cross-breed and hybrid of crops and animals?

Allah, A’zizul Hakeem, Ahsanul Khaliqeen says He has perfected his all creations, “Who has perfected everything He created” (Surah As-Sazda 32:7).

And Allah says,

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفࣰاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ 

“So direct your face toward the Deen, inclining to truth, the fiṭrah of Allāh upon which He has created people. No change should there be in the creation of Allāh. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.”
(Ar-Rum 30:30)

Subhanallah! In what a fundamental context of Islam Allah mentioned this issue!
“لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ” (La Tabdeela LiKhalqillah!)”
“No change should there be in the creation of Allāh.”
And that’s Deenul Qayyim!

but these shaitan came up with cross-breed, hybrid and making new creations and we have been eating these corrupt food for many decades while our entire scholarship of Modern Ulama has been sleeping.

Are you still doing Allah’s Deen?

How many ways have we not abandoned the Quran?
Kuffar has corrupted the entire food system today by altering Allah’s creation be eat rice, wheat, cattle, fruits or vegetables and we Ummah look for no way out to save our Deen while we read Allah’s book, that doesn’t impact us.

Rasulullah Sallallahu A’laihi Wa Sallam has clearly mentioned,

باب مِنَ الدِّينِ الْفِرَارُ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏
“‏ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ ‏”‏‏.‏

“A time will soon come when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take on the top of mountains and the places of rainfall (valleys) so as to flee with his Deen from Fitnah/ afflictions.”
(Saheeh Bukhari 19, Abu Dawud 4267.)

O Muslim, when do you think that day will come for you?
That you will think, ‘Now is the time to move to the mountain?’
Kuffar has dismantled the authority of Muslims, wasn’t that a time for you to move to the mountains?
Kuffar has forced their Shariah on you, wasn’t that a time for you to move to the mountains?
Kuffar has submerged you into an ocean of Riba, wasn’t that a time for you to move to the mountains?
Kuffar has successfully corrupted the entire food system aided by shaitan and you’re fed that corrupt / shaitanic food, yet that is not the time for you to think that your Deen needs to be saved?
That you need to move to the mountain to save your Deen?

When do you think, your Deen will be taken away?
Is it when your Salah, Siyam and Hajj are gone?
Know that Kuffar will never take away these from you.
They invite you to their ‘White Palaces’ for Iftar,
They give away their churches to build your Masjid and pray your Salah.
Don’t you understand, that the Deen of yours which only consists of Salah, Siyam and Hajj does not bother the Kuffar at all?

What bothers Kuffar, is the Deen of Islam that consist the Shariah of Allah, which they have demolished long back. But you Jaheel still thinking you’re doing your Deen by living under the Kuffar’s Shariah!
When would it be your time to take the Quran and holdfast onto the Quran?
When would you understand that there can’t be a Deen of Islam for a Muslim submitting to the Kuffar’s Shariah!

Wa Allahu A’lam.
May Allah guide us!
May Allah give us understanding!
May Allah protect us.

Yet Allah’s word doesn’t impact Muslims, so we have to look for scientific evidence to prove the corruption of the food system! So here it is!

1. Processed and Ultra-Processed Foods

Antibiotics and Hormones:

Antibiotics in Livestock:
Livestock is often treated with antibiotics and growth hormones, which can enter the food chain and contribute to antibiotic resistance and hormonal imbalances in humans.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the overuse of antibiotics in animal farming contributes to antibiotic resistance, a major global health threat.

3. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that heavy metals like lead and cadmium in food and water can cause severe health issues, including kidney damage and developmental problems in children.

So now, you know what’s going on, what food you’re eating.

Dignity Being Muslim

And as usual, you can let it go by saying,
“What can I do? I cannot change the system alone, nor I can get out of the system. And when you go to live off-grid, the challenges are many”:

“What about the children and their future?
What about the skills we have?
Where would we use and benefit from our skills?
What about the earnings?
Do you expect everyone should be a farmer?
And then we are not even physically ready to work on a farm.
Nor our children and women are ready to take the hardship of a farm life.
We are spoiled. We can’t help it brother. We are lost. It’s not easy to get out of this system. But yes, a farm life could be good when you retire!”

Well, you have raised some practical and genuine concerns.
But truly speaking, you’re a lost kind of person, definitely not a character of a Muslim.

A Muslim breaks the shackle of corruption, he doesn’t submit to the corruption. That’s the bottom line about being Muslim. That’s the Dignity being Muslim. You must live by the dignity of a Muslim.

Eating pure food is Allah’s command in the first place, it’s not your choice.
And changing the evil by your hand or tongue or heart is a command and, therefore an obligation to every Muslim. (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2169, Saheeh)

Therefore, you can understand, Islam doesn’t allow you to be indifferent in the face of corruption. You must have an act.

And you must believe that Allah will be with you when you do what is the right thing to do.
(Surah Nahl 16:128)
You must believe that Allah will show you the way when you take a step for Allah’s cause.
(Surah Al-Ankabut 29:69)

And you must believe when Allah says:
“And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect. (Surah At-Talaq 65:3):

Indeed, unless you have a firm belief in Allah’s words and unless you have the attitude to stand against the the corruption, you will always be a subject to the corruptors.

On the other hand, when you have a firm belief in Allah’s word and you have the attitude to stand against corruption, for you Allah will be sufficient. As Allah promised:

“And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.
(Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3)

As for us, we can only say, It’s your choice. Either obey Allah or obey the corruptors.
But If you want to take a step, we have devised a plan, an off-grid living project that will answer most of your concerns above, En Shaa Allah, Bi-Iznillah!

Wa Allahu A’lam.

That He save us from the corrupt system.

The question comes, does a a country become a Land of Islam which declares Islam as the ‘State Religion’?
In this article we will try to get the answer, En Shaa Allah.

The first thing is to understand, what does this ‘State Religion’ mean?
Does the state itself have a religion?
Or Is it to declare how the state is governing?
Or is it to declare that the state will run religiously?
Or Is it to declare that the state will follow religious guidelines in governing its affairs?

In fact, when you come to know a country’s constitution says that its religion is Islam, you would think this country follows a religion, this country governs its affairs with a religion and that religion is Islam.
Therefore, it’s a land of Islam.

But what do we see in reality when we dig into the Constitution itself?
We find these constitutions are full of contradictions.
Most of these countries constitution also declared the country as secular thus the legislation is based on the Kuffar’s (secular) laws.
Most of these countries declared sovereignty to the people thus giving people the authority to make their own law.
Most of these countries follow the system of the Kufr of democracy.
Most of these countries take the UN, the head of the Taghut as their Rabb therefore, they follow the UN letter by letter.
These are the major contradictions within their constitutions.

So, the question remains, why do those countries mention Islam as a ‘State Religion’?
Is It to declare its identity and alignment towards Islam?

It could be due to many reasons, such as;
Showing an alignment towards Islam, only due to political corruption or for many it could be a first step towards implementing Islamic Shariah. Allah knows best.

Whatever the reason is, merely declaring Islam as a ‘State Religion’ has no significance in terms of its status to be considering it as a Land of Islam unless at least the Major 4 criteria are fulfilled, such as
(1) Eliminating secularism,
(2) Declaring Sovereignty to Allah,
(3) Discarding democracy,
(4) Declaring Shariah is the only source of legislation in its constitution.

Abu Hirairah Radiallahu Anhu said,
“I have passed through a time in which I did not care with whom amongst you I entered into a transaction….But today I would not enter into a transaction with you except so and so.”
(Saheeh Muslim 263-230/142, Tirmidi 2179, Hasan Saheeh)

Subhanallah! This was the situation that the Sahaba themselves faced during their lifetime. Then, what about today, after more than 1400 years?
Allahu Musta’an. The time is scary. What can we expect? May Allah grant us and make us among the Saliheen.

My brothers,
Everything makes sense when we Muslims know one certain thing, that this is the end of the time. So, we remember the Hadith of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam to understand the reality.

‘When there is no Khilafah, run away.’
(Sunan Abu Dawud 4247, Hasan)
‘When you don’t find any group, stay away from all these groups’
(Sahih al-Bukhari 7084)
‘There will be a time when one has to move to a mountain in order to save his Deen.’
(Saheeh Bukhari 19, Abu Dawud 4267)

And this is that time.
O Allahi, this is that time.
In fact, that time appeared long back but we didn’t realize it.
Or actually, those who realized and understood these Hadith acted on already. We are the heedless ones remained to act yet. May Allah help us.

So, as Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam predicted, here we are ultimately trying to save our Deen, by moving away from the corruptions of the current world systems set by the Kuffar which corrupted our food, education, medicine, families, financial systems and what not, and trying to survive in a lifestyle, raising goats/ sheep on the mountain, we only fashionably call it, ‘off-grid living’.

At the end, we must not forget the time we live in. Therefore, let us inform you the odds that exists in Aceh, especially in the city of Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh.

Bida’a:

In our observations, we found more than 80% of Masjids engaged in Bida’a. Only 2 out of 10 Masjid you go to, might not find doing Bida’a. Allah knows best. Therefore, before moving to the community living in the off-grid project, you have to find a suitable neighborhood for you.
May Allah protect us from Bida’a. May Allah guide the people of Bida’a.

Night Coffee Shop/ Internet culture:

Subhanallah!
While Bida’a didn’t surprise us much, this environment did.
You will find coffee shops/ restaurants are open 24/7 with free internet services where young adults gather in the middle of the night. La Hawla Wa La Quwata Illa Billah!
Al Hamdulillah, Only recently the government has put restrictions on closing them at midnight. May Allah protect the generations of Muslims. Ameen.

“Concurrently, the province’s main form of entertainment, its 24-hour coffee shops, have been ordered to limit their hours of operation, and shut at midnight.”

Language:

English is very rarely spoken or understood. Therefore, it will be a very tough situation if you don’t have an English-speaking local companion with you. For many, maybe mobile voice translation apps could be a savior. For a few, maybe appointing a local for AUD $250-300 per month could work best.
Anyways, you just need to be aware of and take measures as to how to tackle this issue. Obviously, first couple of years could be the harder times. May Allah make it easy for us.

So, this is what we came about the issues that one need to prepare to deal with. And let’s remind ourselves, Hijrah is a difficult journey. We must prepare ourselves to face the struggle and tawakkul on Allah. And Allah’s reward is abundant as Allah said,

Al Hamdulillah, now, If you’re the one who did not decide or choose Shayam, Yemen or Khorasan as your Hijrah destination, and you don’t have much money to buy a residency property in the surrounding areas, then, Aceh should gave you every reason to think it as a Hijrah destination, specially after reading the previous articles about Aceh as to how it protects it’s citizen from Shirk and Haram environment.

In this article, we will talk about other important issues related to Aceh, En Shaa Allah.

RESIDENCY:

What was our second most important criterion for searching for a land?
It was an easy pathway towards residency.
ACEH exactly matches our criteria, Al Hamdulillah!
There are many ways to get a residency in ACEH.
One of the ways is business investment.
Through business investment, a pathway is open for long-term stay after which there open several pathways towards obtaining a national ID card which will give access to many govt. facilities.

You can register a business and invest a certain amount on your own to be in the process of residency.

ISLAMIC, SOCIAL and ECONOMICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Overall, the Islamic environment in ACEH is far better than any other part of Indonesia or Malaysia. There is no cinema hall, no super mall. You won’t find music playing anywhere in public places rather they play Quran audio even in restaurants and 3/4 star hotels. Women must wear a Hijab. There’s no free mixing tolerated.

If you move on the streets of Banda Aceh, the capital of ACEH, you will find people are calm and respectful. There is no stress in their movements. Most of the people live by $200 a month. You can hire a labour/ housemaid for $100-$150/ month. (They advertise online for a sales representative for $250/month) Their life is not centered around the federal capital of Jakarta, they are happy living within. You will rarely find any public buses in the city, it’s motorbikes all over the place. Women from young adults to old ones, move freely and comfortably on their bikes.

LOCAL and INTERNATIONAL MEDIA REPORTS:

Traditional Quran Hifz and Madrasah education is everywhere.
There is a Turkish International School that teaches in English medium, General subjects, Arabic language (as an optional subject), and Quran Hifz in 12 years.
Besides, we have plans to establish an International standard English and Arabic medium Madrasah in our project En Shaa Allah, details will be informed later.

There are many who keep Malaysia on their prospective Hijrah destination list. Sadly, most of these Muslims are not aware of the status of Malaysia in the Hijrah perspective. Neither they know the criteria for considering a land as the land of Hijrah.

In our research about Malaysia, we discarded it from our list of a prospective Hijrah destination because of the main reason, their constitution is based on democracy which incorporates Kuffar’s law.

But there are two states/ provinces of Malaysia namely ‘Kelantan’ and ‘Terengganu’ which are based on Shariah law. We can say, they intend to run those lands in Islamic Shariah. But the problems go back to the Malaysian federal government again. The federal govt. prevent those two states from implementing Allah’s Shariah.

Fact about Malaysia:

Since Malaysia’s law is based on ‘English Common Law’ with a mix of Shariah Law, which they call a dual system of law. Therefore, the Malaysian federal/ central govt system itself appears to be in KUFR.

And here what the report says:

“The two states of Malaysia, ‘Kelantan’ and ‘Terengganu’ are bound/ obliged under the Fed govt law: though they are intending to implement Shariah law and have enacted hudood (Islamic penal law) for Muslims, although the federal government has never allowed the implementation.”

“The party (PAS) `favours tough Islamic legal norms and once sought to implement a criminal code known as “hudud,” which prescribes penalties such as amputations for theft and death by stoning for adultery. But the federal/ national government blocked the move.”

“Recently, last February 2024, such events reoccurred when ‘Kelantan’ province enacted a more strict law against the LGBTQ+ movement:”

“In the past, there might not have been much of this issue (women acting like men). Now, however, we see that ‘Pengkid’ (tomboys or lesbians) and similar cases are becoming more widespread. So, the state government intends to curb this issue,”

“State Shariah Implementation, Education and Higher Education Committee chairman Datuk Satiful Bahari Mamat said the amendment also involved Section 33A (women acting like men), Section 36A (preparation for sodomy), and Section 29A (pregnant or giving birth to a child out of wedlock).”

But the federal/ national government blocked the move:
“On Friday, the Federal Court ruled that 16 provisions under the Kelantan Syariah Enactment were unconstitutional.”

“PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan described the Federal Court judgment as a black Friday for the Syariah court.”

This affected the other Shariah province ‘Terengganu’:
“But after the Federal court’s decision on ‘Kelantan’ issue the rebuttal:
“The ‘Terengganu’ government will examine all aspects of the state’s shariah criminal law to ensure it does not contradict federal law”, says Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.

He said this after the Federal Court on Friday struck down 16 provisions of the ‘Kelantan Syariah Criminal Code’ (I) Enactment 2019 on grounds of unconstitutionality.”

“Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar (pic) said the in-depth review would cover all aspects of the Federal Court’s decision to strike out 16 provisions under the Kelantan Syariah Criminal Enactment 2019.”

“Ahmad Samsuri said the apex court’s decision had not only affected Kelantan but also the entire nation, including Terengganu.”

“He told Sinar Harian that his government would take the necessary action against any party that intends to challenge the state’s criminal Syariah enactment, adding that the court’s decision had left a negative impact on the Syariah legal system in the country.”

So, you can understand, while these two states of Malaysia, ‘Kelantan’ and ‘Terengganu’ is trying to implement Shariah law, the Malaysia govt. prevents them by going against Shariah law, which is clear Kufr.

Whereas ACEH, being an independent province of Indonesia, enacts laws independently.
That’s what places ACEH in a better position than those two provinces of Malaysia.

ACEH – PROTECTION from SHIRK:

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam forbade living and settling with the Mushrikeen.
(Saheeh Muslim 4124 (20/1637).
Therefore, it must be one of the main responsibilities of an Islamic authority to safeguard Muslims from the Kufr, Shirk and Haram environment which, in our knowledge, the Aceh authority does very well, Al Hamdulillah! May Allah make them firm.

A Muslim should give this issue a priority when he chooses a land for Hijrah since the consequences of living in an environment of Shirk and Kufr are severe. If not the knowledgeable and pious ones but their generations always remain vulnerable and get affected by the Shirk and Kufr of the environment.

An example is the Indian Muslims.
in 1947, when India was separated between Pakistan and India, over 7 million Muslims moved from India to Pakistan. However, around 35 million Muslims remained in independent India.

What’s the practical outcome of this?


Look at the image, the survey shows, how the Indian Muslims’s mindset and understanding have been affected by their environment. They are Muslims but their belief in the existence of Malaikah (angels) and Akhirah (hereafter) is deluded by the Mushrikun’s philosophies.

Think of it, a Muslim who has doubt about Malaikah or doubt about Akhirah, doesn’t remain a Muslim anymore, even though they think they are Muslims, even though they are firm in other issues of Deen.

If you are to analyze why and how this has happened to them, you only find the same reason, living with the Mushrikeen. These Muslims didn’t move to the land of Mushrikeen by choice, they happened to be born there, yet they were afflicted by the environment of Hindu gurus, Hindu neighbours, Hindu colleagues around them and most importantly by the policy of the Mushrikeen authority over them. May Allah guide them and protect them from Shirk.

Then, what about those who choose to move to the lands of Shirk and Kufr on their own will to seek Dunya? May Allah protect us. May Allah give us understanding.

And then, we are approaching a time when most of the Arab lands are importing Shirk and Zina in front of our eyes! Subhanallah! This is happening exactly as Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam has predicted about the end of the time that,
“The Hour will not begin until some tribes of my ummah join the Mushrikeen and some tribes of my ummah worship idols.”
(This hadith was classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.)

Isn’t that the case happening in UAE, Saudi?
Not only in the Arab lands, but this is also the case with most of the Muslim-majority lands (I don’t call those ‘Muslim countries’ as long as those lands/ countries are ruled by the ‘Kuffar’s Shariah’). The displaying of idols in images, posters, billboards, sculptures, processions, etc. are held/ takes place in most of these Muslim-populated lands openly in the names of ‘religious harmony, tolerance and respect to all faiths’. Thus Shirk is endorsed, acknowledged, and supported by the so-called Muslim authorities. May Allah protect us.

An Islamic authority must protect its people at least from societal Shirk, Kufr and Zina. This is the minimum an Islamic authority should do to save the generations of Muslims from Jahannam.

And Al Hamdulillah, this is where ACEH comes.
ACEH govt does it strongly.

The descendants of the Chinese respond that is only “a cultural show” to remember the victims of the tsunami. A latest Dec 2024 ‘MalayMail’s report headlined:

“Silent night in Aceh as Indonesian Catholics hold modest Christmas mass amid Shariah law restrictions”,

Which reports the following:

“Christmas decorations are not allowed on the streets of Aceh — the only Indonesian province to implement strict Shariah law that includes punishments like flogging — where 98 per cent are Muslim and just 6,000 Catholics live.”

Aceh authority protects its people from Shirk and they are determined about it. Al Hamdulillah! Obviously, that qualifies ACEH as a land of Hijrah over those Arab lands, such as Turkey, Malaysia, and other regions of Indonesia. And Allah knows best.

Protection of Immoralities/ ZIna/:

How does ACEH protect its people from a Zina environment?
Here is a report:

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
“Undoubtedly allowing women to mix freely with men is the basis of all evils. This is one of the greatest causes of punishment coming down upon everyone and of public and private affairs becoming corrupt. Free mixing of men and women is the cause of much immorality and adultery, and it is the cause of general doom and diseases.”

“One of the greatest causes of general doom is the prevalence of adultery because of allowing women to mix freely with men and to walk amongst them making a wanton display of their beauty. If the powers that be knew how much corruption it causes to worldly interests and to people, they would prevent it most vigorously.”
(Al-Turuq al-Hakamiyyah, p. 408)

So, here again, Aceh authority is protecting Muslims from the Zina environment which is a normal thing to most of the Muslim-majority lands. And obviously, that qualifies ACEH as a land of Hijrah over those Arab lands and other so-called Muslim lands, such as Turkey, Malaysia, and other regions of Indonesia. And Allah knows best.

PROTECTION from HARAM:

STAND-OUT ALONE:

There are two other provinces/ states in Malaysia which also governed by Shariah but they operate under the federal govt. of Malaysia. Therefore, the Malaysian government can oppose any law if it goes against the federal law and that was the case with those two provinces. One example is that the parliament of Malaysia opposed a law against the LGBT movement in one of those provinces in February 2014.

So, what makes ACEH stand out above all those so-called Muslim countries?
It’s very simple.
Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia (Federal), Egypt, Morocco etc. all of these countries are directly ruled and governed by the Kuffar’s law through a system of Kufr called ‘democracy’ while ACEH is independent to implements its own law and it is progressing, En Shaa Allah.

LGBT:

“As in 2016, a team which consisted of Wilayatul Hisbah, Satuan PolisiPamong Praja (a civil service police unit), ulama (Islamic scholars), military and police officers conducted sweeping patrols against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender(LGBT) in beauty salons in Meulaboh, the capital city of West Aceh. The sweeping patrols were carried out in order to stop the spread of LGBT in West Aceh since they were prohibited in Islamic Shariah qanun No. 6 of 2013 [8] setting out the law of Jinayah(Islamic penal provisions). The violators were educated by local ulama with the approach of Islamic values. Ika Suhanas Adli said, “When we did sweeping patrols to the salon, we found two men dressed as women. So, we directly educated them as it was the first time. However, the violators, when convicted, can be caned up to 30 times if they do it again”.

LEGAL STATUS of Aceh:

ACEH is an independent territory within Indonesia where they are independent in applying Shariah. Thus they have implemented a few basic Shariah rulings that don’t exist in any other part of Indonesia nor in Malaysia, such an example is flogging for Zina.

SYAR’IYAH COURT:

Article 128:
(1) “The Islamic Syari’at Judiciary in Aceh is a part of the national judiciary system in the environs of religious affairs.”
“Judiciary performed by the Syariah court which is free from the influence of any party.”

(2) “Syar’iyah Court is the court for every person who embraces Islam and is in Aceh.”

(3) “Syar’iyah Court is authorized to examine, try, provide rulings, and settle cases which consist of the fields of Ahwal al-syakhsiyah (family law), Mu’amalah (civil law) and Jinayah (criminal law) based on Islamic
Ssyari’at.”

(4) “Further stipulation regarding the fields of Ahwal al-syakhsiyah (family law), Mu’amalah (civil law) and Jinayah (criminal law), as meant in clause (3), is regulated by Aceh Qanun.”

“The implementation of Shariah law in the life of Acehnese people is within the national legal system in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) as mentioned in Article 128 of Law No. 11 of 2006.”

“Shariah law in Aceh regulated by Qanun not only to regulate the Criminal Law, but the Shariah Law is also to regulate issues on economic, trade, banking, social life and even political issues.”
